Thousands of years ago, rams were worshipped for their strength, determination and leadership. The ram skull has always been a pagan symbol, and as such, it is considered a particularly non-Christian symbol, leading to controversy surrounding the image. However, it has nothing to do with Christianity at all and more to do with the horned gods found in Wicca and other neo-pagan religions. The Horned God is seen as a male parallel to the three goddesses, representing nature and creation. This can be represented very simply and vaguely by a crescent placed horizontally on a circle, allowing the image to interpret.
The ram is the animal representing the zodiac sign. Aries traits include confidence, enthusiasm, optimism, and enthusiasm. As the first of the zodiac, it has extra meaning to people because it is at the top of the list. Of course, this could be another way that a ram skull tattoo represents power. In the origins of modern astrology, a mix of Greek and Babylonian folklore, the horned, winged ram was revered for its golden fleece, which brought leading wealth. Tattoo designs designed to convey this mythology often incorporate constellations of stars and other celestial bodies, showing the skull of a ram as a symbol of conquest.
